Tomas is the Founder and Chief Investment Officer of DoubleBlue Capital Management. He has 25+ years' experience in investment markets in both developed and emerging markets. Prior to founding DoubleBlue, Tomas was Chief Investment Officer and Portfolio Manager of GE Asset Management's $3 billion global hedge fund investments. He was also responsible for approximately $1 billion portfolio of Private Equity fund investments and led origination for GE's direct private equity investments in Latin America. Tomas joined GE in 2007 as VP of Strategy for GE's Consumer Finance and Retail Banking business. Before GE, Tomas spent four years at McKinsey & Co., focused on corporate strategy for businesses across a variety of sectors. His professional experience also includes M&A advisory at KPMG, strategic and finance positions in a leading software company in Latin America, and entrepreneurial ventures in sports marketing. Tomas began his career in 1992 working on the trading floor for the oldest stock brokerage firm in Buenos Aires and later as a junior equity and bond analyst. Tomas holds an MBA with honors from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College and a BBA from Georgia College where he was named Conference Student-Athlete of the Year his senior year. He was also named to MBA Diversity Magazine's Top 100 Hispanic Executives in the USA.
