Dave serves as an advisor to DoubleBlue Capital. Dave was most recently Chairman and CEO of GE’s Global Consumer Finance business, a global consumer finance powerhouse with $220 billion in served assets, operating in 55 countries, generating over $4 billion of net profit. Dave started GE’s Global Consumer Finance business in 1992 and during his tenure the team completed 99 acquisitions. Dave began his career at RCA Corporation from 1975-1981. In October 1981, Dave joined GE Capital as a Strategic Planner for the Consumer Business sector. He was promoted to US Consumer Region VP in 1984 and Business CEO in 1986. Today, that business is known as Synchrony Financial (NYSE: SYF). In 1990, Mr. Nissen became CEO of Monogram Credit Card Bank before starting the Global Consumer Finance business. Dave earned a BA from Northwestern University and an MBA from the University of Chicago.
