 Adolfo Villagomez is the Chief Executive Officer of 1-800-FLOWERS.COM, Inc. Appointed in May 2025, he is the first leader in the company’s history from outside the founding McCann family. His tenure focuses on a "transformational new era" for the $1.8 billion retailer, prioritizing digital innovation, supply chain modernization, and data-driven customer experiences. Before joining the gifting giant, Villagomez served as CEO of Progress Residential, the nation’s largest operator of single-family rentals. There, he managed a vast portfolio across 40 U.S. markets, driving platform-wide operational rigor and technological scaling. He previously served as President of Online and Chief Marketing Officer of Home Depot. Under his leadership, the company’s e-commerce business surpassed $20 billion in annual sales by 2021. He also managed core merchandising categories and led the brand’s integrated marketing and retail media strategies. Adolfo began his leadership career at McKinsey & Company, where he was a Partner leading the North America Marketing & Sales Practice, and at DuPont, where he held various management roles. Beyond his executive duties, he serves on the Board of Directors for Kohl’s Corporation and TripleLift, Inc. Adolfo holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the Universidad Nacional Autónomade México (UNAM) and an MBA from the Yale School of Management.
