Jim retired from GE Asset Management (GEAM) in 2014, after having led its $2.5B International Private Equity efforts for 20 years. During his tenure he achieved a 27% IRR on direct investments and a 15% return on fund investments, investing in both developed and emerging markets. Jim raised and managed two complimentary, institutional buyout funds where GEAM acted as the General Partner. Jim joined GE as Deputy Treasurer- International where he led GE's London-based treasury operations supporting GE's M&A and FX hedging activities. Prior to his GE career, Jim spent 11 years with RJR Nabisco after beginning his career as an International Tax Counsel. Jim is a graduate of Fairfield University, the University of Connecticut School of Law and is a member of the Connecticut Bar and Connecticut Society of CPA's.
