Jim retired in 2009 as SVP Mergers and Acquisitions for GE Money. He currently serves as an advisor for DoubleBlue Capital, a consultant for Gerson Lehrman Group, and is a private investor. Jim was one of the founders of GE’s global consumer finance business (GE Money) in 1993. During his tenure his team effectively executed over 150 acquisitions and partnerships. The transactions ranged from Western and Eastern Europe to Asia, Australia, South America and the USA. During that period, GE Money grew from $60 million of net income to a global consumer finance powerhouse generating over $4 billion of net profit while operating in more than 55 countries. This growth was largely driven by the successful acquisition program. Jim has a BS in business and economics Magna Cum Laude from Lehigh University.
