Ozey Horton

  Ozey is an Independent Advisor and Director Emeritus of McKinsey & Company, from which he retired in 2011. Prior to that time, Ozey served as a Director in the Atlanta office of McKinsey & Company from 1981 through February 2011. There, Ozey led numerous corporate growth, strategy, mergers and acquisitions, and performance improvement initiatives across a range of industries – especially in the basic industrials space (such as metals and mining; pulp, paper and packaging; chemicals; energy). He has also led several practices within McKinsey & Company, including the global operations practice within the energy and materials sector. Prior to McKinsey, Ozey had early career stints in manufacturing, corporate development, and project engineering. He holds a BSE in civil and environmental engineering from Duke University and an MBA from the Harvard Business School. Ozey sat on the boards of Worthington Industries and Louisiana-Pacific Corp., recently served as director of Metso Corporation and serves as a member of the board of Spoleto Festival USA and the Gaillard Performance Hall Foundation.
